hello, here is a

 old painting, a landscape, in the forest, mountain. it is an oil painting on hst canvas signed berta schutz or berta .schitz ????????? 

framed.

  its old frame is mounted with wooden keys to tighten the canvas, or, if necessary, to prevent it from stretching.

 we can clearly see that the frame and this canvas must date from the end of the 19th century or the very beginning of the 20th century. 

The canvas seems older to me than the frame which is more from the art deco period.

There is a handwritten label (in pen) on the back of this painting.

 look at the photos. The work is in good condition, it needs to be cleaned, or kept as is.

Frame dimensions: approximately 58 x 76 cm = 22.8346 x 29.9213 inches.

dimensions of the canvas: 41 cm x 60 cm approximately = 16,1417 x 23,622 inches.

  son ancien châssis est monté avec  avec des clés en bois pour retendre la toile, ou, le cas échéant, éviter qu'elle ne se détende.

 on voit bien que le châssis et cette toile doivent dater de la fin du dix neuvième siècle ou du tout début du XXeme siècle. 

La toile me parait plus ancienne que le cadre qui lui est plutôt d'époque art déco .

il y a une étiquette manuscrite (a la plume ) a l’arrière de ce tableau .

il est exactement comme sur les photos
