ancien confiturier en cuivre 
Huge and heavy
 rare and very large antique French copper jam or confit pan, , rounded bottom bronze , copper-riveted brass handles and hand-rolled rim. Likely produced in the last quarter of 18th century.

Very heavy piece, weighing 8.4 pounds (livres),  3,8kilos,

It has a 47 cm -diameter without handles, 
and stands 55 cm = 21 inches  tall to top of rim.
