sa Boîte est en hêtre, avec al'intérieur un système a mécanisme d’horlogerie (qui fonctionne ) et un tambour à quatre faces .
. H : 20 - L : 24,3 cm
le mécanisme d'horlogerie Fonctionne mais la transmission entre le mécanisme et le tambour est a restaurer . la partie grillagée est manquante . il est a restaurer a compléter .
le piège consistait a les attirer avec du miel ou avec quelques gouttes de liquide sucré.

Le Muscamor Fly Trap
it is stamped:

its Box is made of beech wood, with a clockwork mechanism inside it and a four-sided drum.

the clock mechanism operates but the transmission between the mechanism and the drum is to be restored. the wire mesh is missing. to restore to complete.
the trap consisted of attracting them with honey or with a few drops of sweet liquid.
Talk story about a fly-trap how it works. The trap is named Le Muscamor, and was made in Toulon, France, in the late 1890's, by a firm named Cizeron. The purchasing agent for Lewis & Conger sent it over here with a lot of smaples Lewis & Conger, ordinarily fond of tricky gadgets were so abashed by its complecity, as well as the price, $13.50, that they never stocked it. Mr. Gaige happened to come in one day whem Mr. E. V. Lewis was cleaning house, saw the fly trap, fell in love with it, and took it away with him. Mr. Gaige has never caught a fly in it.
